According to multiple reports, it may be only a matter of days before the New York Yankees sign Ichiro Suzuki to a one year deal, meaning he would likely serve as the everyday right fielder for the Bronx Bombers for the 2013 MLB season, as Nick Swisher will eventually sign elsewhere.

Buster Olney of ESPN said that the Yankees are expected to announce that a deal has been finalized with Ichiro “within the next few days.” It is expected to be a one year deal for the 39-year-old, although the terms of the contract are not yet known.
