When Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon spoke with ESPN earlier this morning, he was discussing what it would be like when they played against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday in a pivotal Week 15 game as the 7-6 Redskins chase one of the final spots in the NFL Playoffs this season. While it may strictly coincidental, Garcon may have let something slip in terms of whether Washington’s starting quarterback for that contest would be Kirk Cousins or Robert Griffin III.
“It’s still a one-game season,” Garçon said when asked about the feeling around Washington. “We just have to put our best foot forward and now we have a little bit tougher task with Kirk starting. We have to play well around Kirk so Kirk doesn’t feel like he has to save the team and help him to be a comfortable as possible. It’s just a one-game season now. We still have to win games.”
