We have made it to the top five moments of 2012 in New York Sports.

Here are moments 5-1…

5. Raulllll x2

Raul Ibanez had been a clutch hitter for the Yankees all season long, and in Game 3 of the Division Series against Baltimore, they needed him more than ever.

Ibanez was called upon to pinch-hit for the slumping Alex Rodriguez in the ninth inning with one out and the Yankees trailing 2-1.

Ibanez took the second pitch of the at bat and drilled it into the right field seats, tying the game at two and keeping the Yankees from going into a 2-1 hole in the series.

The game went scoreless into the twelfth inning with Ibanez set to lead off for the Yankees.

On the first pitch of the at bat, Ibanez belted another home run into the right field seats, giving the Yankees a 3-2 victory and a 2-1 series lead.

The Yankees would go on to win the series in five games, and were eventually swept by the Tigers in ALCS.
