The Butch Davis era at Tennessee will begin without quarterback Tyler Bray. Bray is going pro. According to Bruce Feldman of CBSSports.com, Bray will put his name in for the 2013 NFL Draft.
After three seasons at Tennessee, Bray has passed for 7,444 yards, 69 touchdowns and has been picked off 28 times. His career completion percentage of 58.6 has been pretty consistently put together over his three years in Knoxville. This past season Bray passed for and SEC-leading 3,612 yards and 34 touchdowns, but his 13 interceptions were second most in the conference. Tennessee ended their season with a record of 5-7 to miss out on a postseason bowl game for the second straight season. Tennessee has not missed a bowl game two consecutive years since the late 1970s.
