If you were expecting to see an offensive explosion in a high scoring shoot out between the BYU Cougars and the San Diego State Aztecs in the Poinsettia Bowl, you were mightily disappointed. Of course, if those were your expectations, you clearly do not pay close attention to college football in the first place. BYU was fourth in the country in points allowed per game.
Kyle Van Noy assured the Cougars that the defense would once again be the heart of this team, as the BYU linebacker accounted for two of the three touchdowns scored in this game.
Considering he plays defense, that is impressive.
