Jets Make Tim Tebow Worthless

Jets Make Tim Tebow Worthless

March 22nd was so exciting for Jets fans. They had just acquired Tim Tebow from the Broncos in exchange for a fourth and sixth round draft pick.

The Broncos had no need from Tim Tebow, after signing one of the most premier quarterbacks in football, Peyton Manning for 5 years, $96 million. A huge amount of money (and years) given to a player who had just had neck surgery and was uncertain he would ever be back to his old self.

Previously, Tim Tebow took a struggling Denver Bronco team to the second round of the playoffs. Tebow was finally able to showcase his ability when the Broncos were 1-3 and trailing to the San Diego Chargers in the second half of play. The game was out of reach at that point, however, Tebow played very well in everyone’s eyes, including the fans as they started chanting his name after their loss.
