The New York Knicks’ six-game home stand has ended and what comes with that is good news and bad news. The bad news is that the Knicks are no longer undefeated at home. The good news is that New York is atop the Atlantic division by 5.5 games over hometown rival Brooklyn (6.5), Boston (7.5), and Philadelphia.

That first loss at Madison Square Garden came December 17th to the Houston Rockets. Oddly enough, the Rockets were one of only five teams who could beat the Knicks this season. The venue for the whooping was at Toyota Center where Jeremy Lin, James Harden and Chandler Parsons sure put one on against the Knicks in late November, winning 131-103. It was a sweet one for Jeremy Lin in the return to MSG as he and James Harden thrashed the Knicks in a 109-96 loss for New York.
