Just two days ago, Andy Reid was reportedly guaranteed the head coaching job with the Arizona Cardinals, this morning, he’s being linked to the Kansas City Chiefs. Officials from the Chiefs met with Reid yesterday in Philadelphia in what is being reported as a nine-hour meeting. Reid was supposed to fly out later in the day on Wednesday for Arizona, but he never departed. ESPN is now reporting that the Chiefs will hire Reid as the team’s next head coach.

ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter are reporting this morning, “the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon,” according to a league source.
