Rex Ryan wants Jets to hire Norv Turner

Although Tony Sparano remains as the New York Jets offensive coordinator, it is being reported this morning at head coach Rex Ryan wants to replace him with another former head coach that was just fired, Norv Turner. There has been a complete media blackout by the Jets organization since the end of the season, and reporters have not been able to ask Ryan any direct questions. Ryan is currently away in the Bahamas on vacation.

ESPN New York is reporting this morning that Norv Turner seems to be on the short list to become offensive coordinator for the 2013 season. The Jets are in limbo currently as the team is without a general manager, but it has been reported by various media outlets that Sparano will be fired shortly.
