Chip Kelly returns to Oregon

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Chip Kelly will decide to return to the University of Oregon for the 2013 season. Kelly led the Ducks to a Fiesta Bowl win and then remained in Arizona to explore his options of coaching in the NFL. Kelly met with officials from the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles and the Buffalo Bills. Ultimately, Kelly decided to remain in Oregon.

His decision is especially damning to the Cleveland Browns, a team which seemingly went all in for Kelly. Cleveland also missed out on another coaching prospect, Doug Marrone. The Browns reportedly interviewed Marrone twice but the Syracuse head coach ultimately chose to remain in the State of New York, opting for the Buffalo Bills coaching job.
