The interest in fired head coach Lovie Smith appears to be heating up. The former Chicago Bears head coach met with the Buffalo Bills last week, but the team decided against Smith, hiring Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone instead. It is now being reported that Smith will join a growing list of coaches that will interview for the Philadelphia Eagles coaching vacancy.
The Eagles job became available after the team released long-term head coach Andy Reid last week. Reid has been hired by the Kansas City Chiefs, replacing Romeo Crennel.
