Report: Junior Seau suffered from brain trauma

Hyped by on January 10, 2013 Website:

ESPN and ABC are both reporting this morning that after analysis, it has been determined that former linebacker Junior Seau did suffer brain trauma. Seau committed suicide last May. Seau’s family donated his brain to research in order to see if playing professional football played a possible role in his suicide.

Speaking exclusively to ESPN and ABC, Seau’s ex-wife and oldest son told reporters that the results of analysis on the brain revealed that Seau tested positive for Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). CTE is a condition caused from repeated blows to the head. The disease leads to dementia, memory loss and depression.
