The Washington Redskins and QB Robert Griffin III received the worst possible news on Tuesday. He sustained a complete tear of both his ACL and LCL, confirmed by Dr. James Andrews. Surgery is schedule for this morning around 7 a.m. EST. Griffin aggravated his knee injury in Sunday’s playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks. The recovery time for the surgery is reportedly 6-8 months. Griffin underwent ACL surgery in 2009.
