What about the timing of Chip Kelly joining Philadelphia?

Oregon head coach Chip Kelly dropped a bomb on the NFL landscape yesterday by agreeing to become the next head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles. Shortly after the Fiesta Bowl, Kelly interviewed with the Eagles along with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills before deciding that he wanted to return to the University of Oregon. It was widely speculated that the Eagles were going to decide between Gus Bradley, Ken Whisenhunt and Brian Billick as the team’s next head coach. Then comes the curveball on Wednesday with the announcement of the hiring of Chip Kelly.
