NBA Rumors: Could Keyon Dooling Step Out Of Boston Celtics Front Office Role And Replace Rajon Rondo?

Rajon Rondo is out for the rest of the season for the Boston Celtics, and the team is scrambling to find a replacement in order to prove to Danny Ainge that this can still be an NBA championship contender. Doc Rivers says that the Celtics “aren’t going anywhere,” but, depending on how his team plays over the next few weeks, that could still hold true, just in the wrong fashion.

As in, this team isn’t going anywhere, so it may be time to blow up the entire roster. Rivers hopes that the Celtics aren’t going anywhere in terms of departing the top eight in the standings, but it will largely depend on who takes over for Rondo, and how the rest of the team steps up in his absence.
