The Seattle Mariners have reportedly wrapped up a contract extension with SP Felix Hernandez to a five-year contract extension. The deal is worth a reported $135 .5 million according to ESPN. The extension comes on top of his current two-year deal worth $39.5 million. Hernandez will now average $27.1 million per season for the remainder of his contract, second only to Roger Clemens salary in 2007.
