Cleveland Indians sign outfielder Michael Bourn to four-year deal

The Cleveland Indians have signed All-Star outfielder Michael Bourn to a four-year, $48 million deal, a source confirmed to MLB.com on Monday. Bourn's deal includes a vesting option for a fifth year at $12 million if he records 550 plate appearances in 2016.

Bourn, 30, was easily the top name still remaining on the free-agent market. He earned an All-Star selection with the Atlanta Braves in 2012 when he batted .274 with nine homers, 57 RBIs and 42 stolen bases.
