The Buffalo Bills have wasted little time this offseason re-shaping their roster heading into the offseason. Several players have already been released but the team actually re-signed a player on Friday, QB Tarvaris Jackson. Jackson was acquired by the Bills heading into last season via trade with the Seattle Seahawks and saw no action on the field for the Bills last year.
Conventional wisdom was that Buffalo would let Jackson walk as a free agent under rookie head coach Doug Marrone. He had been the subject of much speculation that linked him to a potential landing spot with the New York Jets, especially after the signing of general manager John Idzik who had Seattle roots. New York will have to look elsewhere now.
