Will the Miami Dolphins overpay for WR Mike Wallace?

Will the Miami Dolphins overpay for WR Mike Wallace?

Hyped by on February 20, 2013 Website: www.thepigskinreport.com

The Miami Dolphins are a team in need of a legitimate number one receiver this offseason, virtually everyone that follows the NFL realizes this so the story by the South Florida Sun-Sentinel should come as little surprise. What does come as a bit of a shock is the player that the Dolphins are reportedly targeting as their free agent priority, former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace.

Yes, Wallace would be a significant improvement to the Dolphins receiving corps but he is not a number one receiver by any stretch of the imagination. No one can dispute his flat out speed, but work ethic and his behavior after signing a large contract should be a factor in deciding whether or not you want to sign a player referred to by his coach as “a one trick pony”.
