The Philadelphia Eagles made a pair of offseason moves to benefit the salary cap, releasing veteran defensive tackles Cullen Jenkins and Mike Patterson.

Jenkins, 32, was scheduled to receive $5.5 million in 2013. One of the original Dream Team signings before the 2011 season, Jenkins has been a solid yet slightly disappointing player during his two years in Philly. He had signed a five-year, $25 million deal in July 2011.
