Remembering the Worst Team Money Could Buy

Remembering the Worst Team Money Could Buy

Hyped by on April 17, 2013 Website:

Tuesday night in freezing Denver, the Colorado Rockies commemorated the 20th anniversary of the franchise’s first game, which was against the Mets at Shea Stadium, by wearing their original 1993 road uniforms at home in Game 2 of a doubleheader.

That was all well and good. For some reason, they also made the Mets wear their home uniforms from 1993, the one year the Mets went with the font with the flourish underscoring the script “Mets.” Like everything else about the 1993 Mets, the ill-advised script design was quickly disposed of.
