On opening night of the 2013 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins surprised everyone when they traded up in the draft in order to select defensive monster Dion Jordan with the third overall pick.
In order to climb up to No. 3, the Dolphins traded spots with the Oakland Raiders, giving them their 42nd selection in the second round as compensation. The Dolphins followed up Thursday’s move by snagging cornerback Jamar Taylor out of Boise State.
