Atlanta Braves hurler Tim Hudson on Tuesday night became the 90th pitcher since 1901 to win 200 games in a career. Hudson’s Braves defeated the Washington Nationals 8-1. Hudson allowed only three hits and one earned run over seven innings. He struck six in his third win of the season.
Here’s a few interesting stats re: Hudson joining the 200-win club:
•Hudson is the third active pitcher to have 200-plus wins. Andy Pettitte has won 248 games; Roy Halladay is one victory ahead of Hudson with 201.
•Of all the pitchers with 200-plus wins, Hudson is tied with Pettitte with the fewest number of complete games, 25.
