Chad Pennington played his last game for the Miami Dolphins in 2009, a 23-13 loss to the San Diego Chargers that would turn out to be the last of Pennington’s 11-year NFL career. On Wednesday, Pennington was back on the Dolphins’ practice field, taking notes and talking with Ryan Tannehill and the other Dolphins quarterbacks.
Pennington spent the majority of his career in a New York Jets uniform before joining the Dolphins for his final three years. Plagued by injuries throughout his career, he made up for a perceived lack of arm strength by being one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the league.
