The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have decided they aren’t quite finished in making player moves this offseason. On Sunday evening, it was announced that the Buccaneers arranged a trade with the Chicago Bears to acquire OT/G Gabe Carimi in exchange for a sixth-round selection in the 2014 draft.
Carimi, a former first-round selection of the Bears, was a disgruntled member of the team, skipping offseason workouts. Carimi will now be reunited with his former college coach, Bob Bostad, who he played for at the University of Wisconsin. The offensive lineman has battled knee injuries during the majority of his NFL career.
