The NFL announced on Friday that Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon would be suspended for 2 games while being slapped with a four-game paycheck fine. The current crew running the Browns had no say in the selection of Gordon in the 2012 Supplemental Draft. While he showcased some talent on the field last season, he did not joint the Browns without the possibility of off-field issues.
Gordon decided to enter the Supplemental Draft after having issues with marijuana issues while at Baylor. Last night, his camp released a statement which tried to illustrate that Gordon’s violation was linked to a drug test that he tested positive for codeine while taking treatment for strep throat.
