NFL players sacrifice many things to have a successful career playing professional football at the highest level. Many give up a stable home life, while others sacrifice their mind and body by putting themselves on the line each and every play. But one former Chicago Bears wide receiver and notorious first round bust went to the extreme, saying that he would have sacrificed something far more important – at least to most males – to have had the opportunity to play with a better quarterback.
And we aren’t even talking about Dan Marino or John Elway. We are talking about Jay Cutler. That is how poorly former No. 8 overall pick David Terrell felt about all of his other quarterbacks he played with for the Bears from 2001-2004. Just listen how badly he would have loved to have had Cutler throwing him balls during his playing days.
