GM Stan Bowman opened up another roster spot for a young gun. On Tuesday he traded Daniel Carcillo to the LA Kings for a conditional 2015 draft pick. Reportedly the pick will be a fifth rounder if Carcillo appears in at least 40 games, if not the pick will be a sisxth rounder.

Carcillo appeared in four postseason games this past year and only played in 50 regular season games over the last two years. Most of the time he was injured or suspended during his time with the Hawks.
