I’m always skeptical about news that comes out of various NFL camps at this time of the year. Last week, Buffalo Bills rookie offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett told reporters that the Buffalo Bills will feed the ball to RB C.J. Spiller until “he either taps out or throws up.” Interesting.
After watching the Bills first preseason game this afternoon, there is little doubt that Spiller is going to be the focal point of the offense. The Clemson grad carried the ball in four of the first five snaps for the Bills. Spiller ripped off two very nice carries at the start of the game when the Bills were pinned back inside their own three yard line. After two quick carries, the Bills were at their own 36-yard line.
