The Buffalo Bills unveiled their new look offense this afternoon against the Indianapolis Colts. While the Bills sturggled early, you could sense the offense was settling in as the first half wore on. The biggest question mark for the Bills this season is who becomes the starting quarterback. E.J. Manuel got the starting gig this afternoon after an injury to Kevin Kolb, but don’t let rave reviews fool you tomorrow.
Early on in the game, it was clear that the Bills didn’t want to place too much in Manuel’s hands as C.J. Spiller was the focal point of the first two drives, four touches in the first five plays. If there was any question in the fantasy football world as to how much Spiller would be utilized this year, there should be no doubt after the first game. Spiller responded by ripping off some big runs.
