New York Jets Owner Says Team Will Not Release Mark Sanchez For 2013 NFL Season

The New York Jets are a hot mess. Actually, the 2013 Jets could be described as much worse, but my vocabulary has decreased over the past few years, so I will stick with hot mess. With a lame duck head coach in Rex Ryan, a quarterback competition that leaves much to be desired and an overall lack of talent and depth on a roster that may leave them fighting for last place in a watered down AFC East, New York is a far cry from the team that came so close to reaching the Super Bowl just a few years back. The 2013 Jets are not going to contend for any postseason berth this season, but rather have a much better shot at striking it rich by finishing with the worst record and the right to select South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end, Jadeveon Clowney, with the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
