The Tampa Bay Buccaneers entered Sunday’s array of games as one of the eight remaining teams without a win on this early season. Dating back to the AFL/NFL merger of 1970, teams which started the season 0-2 had a 9% chance of reaching post season play, so this afternoon was as close to an early must win for the Buccaneers as it can get. The early morning rain in Massachusetts cleared out and when the sun emerged, it was clear it was shining on the New England Patriots.
The Buccaneers were able to control some issues which plagued them in their first two games this season, but new problems were revealed as the Bucs dropped to 0-3 to the Patriots after a disappointing 23-3 loss.
