The Miami Dolphins find themselves as one of the leagues few remaining unbeaten teams after three weeks behind the leadership of second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill. However well Tannehill has played this season, he’s currently on pace to set an NFL record he likely would not want his name associated with. While Tannehill has thrown just two interceptions so far this season, he has committed five fumbles in the first three games.
At the current pace, Tannehill would have 26 fumbles for the season, eclipsing the mark set by Kerry Collins (2001) and Dante Culpepper (2002). Tannehill had nine fumbles last season, a number which set the Dolphins franchise record for a rookie.
