Over the past few weeks of the NFL regular season, rain has played a role in games being played but as the calendar has flipped over to the start of the Fall season, weather does not appear to be a major role in this week’s games. Looking at the weather map this morning, there is only one weather feature that could impact a few games this week.
A cold front stretches from Canada to the Gulf Coast, but this week, there is not the tropical moisture pump in the Gulf region which is turning this front into a serious rain maker. The west coast of Florida was inundated with heavy rains early in the week, but that weather system has moved out.
