The New York Giants are a team headed nowhere this season. They are 0-5 and resemble the worst team in the NFL in 2013. They are struggling on offense and defense and cannot seem to do anything right. The New England Patriots – the team the Giants have defeated in each of their last two Super Bowl championships – are a team without a true offensive identity in 2013. While they are 4-1, New England is not a running team. Nor are they a passing team. The Patriots are struggling to get things going, partially due to the fact that they simply cannot stay healthy. Danny Amendola will be in and out of the lineup all season long, and the same is likely to be true for Rob Gronkowski, whenever he does in fact make his season debut. With the Giants needing to build for the future, and the Patriots needing to make an impact now, could the Giants trade Hakeem Nicks to the Patriots for a 2014 NFL Draft pick?
