Running back Paul James and tight end Tyler Kroft, both sophomore’s were named to First Team All-AAC Offense. Junior center Betim Bujari was named to Second Team Offense as well as true freshman Janarion Grant who was named to the second team as a return specialist.
James became the team’s workhorse back early in the season, taking the starting running back position away from Savon Huggins. James was a big reason for the Scarlet Knights 4-1 start. Prior to suffering a leg injury, James was leading the nation in rushing. After being injured, the Rutgers offense sputtered as did the team’s season.
