We have reached the final weekend of the NFL regular season. While weather has played a role in several games over the past few weeks, the weather map does not appear to be quite as busy as it has earlier this month. As regions of the country have seen unseasonable, well below average temperatures, most of the country is around normals for this time of the year.
A quick look at the weather map this morning shows us two main weather systems. A developing storm system is coming out of the Gulf of Mexico with a trailing cold front which will push through Florida later today. This storm system and the accompanying low pressure will skirt up the East Coast over the next 36 hours, bringing rain and snow to the northeast.
