The Detroit Lions appeared to be in the driver’s seat of the NFC North by Week 11 of the 2013 season. After sweeping the series season against the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers had lost QB Aaron Rodgers and Detroit had the inside track on the division title. Detroit responded by turning the ball over at least three times in five straight weeks and played right out of the division lead by losing five or their last six games. Perhaps they cost head coach Jim Schwartz his job as well.
