Heading into Thursday night, the Chicago Blackhawks had won 11 straight games over their former division rivals, the Columbus Blue Jackets. After Thursday I guess we can make it 12 straight.
It's good to know that the Hawks can still beat up on the Jackets now that they play in the East. It's also good to know the Hawks don't need Viktor Stalberg in order to do so.
After Tuesday night's loss to Colorado, coach Joel Quenneville switched up the lines. He paired Jonathan Toews with Brandon Saad and Andrew Shaw and boy did it pay off. The line combined for five points. Shaw and Toews each scored two goals while Saad tallied an assist.
