Pittsburgh Pirates vs New York Yankees Game 2 Double-Header Recap

Final Score: Pirates 5 Yankees 3

The New York Yankees were unable to complete the sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday afternoon on the second part of their double-header. The 5-3 loss moves the Yankees to (23-20) on the season, and they hold a half game lead in the AL East.

Joe Girardi sent out a skeleton crew for Game 2 sitting most of his lineup, but the Yankees did get a good start from Vidal Nuno. Nuno gave the Yankees a quality start going six innings allowing three runs, one of which was unearned on six hits and one walk.
