The 2014 NCAA Baseball Tournament has reached the Super Regional round, although the bracket will not feature as many No. 1 seeds as many fans may have expected. Five of the eight national No. 1 seeds failed to advance out of the Regional round this past weekend. The No. 1 overall national seed, the Oregon State Beavers, were the latest top team to fall, losing to UC Irvine at home in the deciding game. The Beavers join the No. 2 Florida Gators, No. 4 Indiana Hoosiers, No. 5 Florida State Seminoles and No. 8 LSU Tigers as the other national No. 1 seeds who failed to make it to the Round of 16. The Gators and Seminoles failed to win even one game.
