The saying goes that "any news is good news". But when that news becomes players, coaches and owners having legal of health issue in the offseason, could the NFL's biggest problem be its own popularity?
It has become a widely accepted opinion that football is now the most popular sport in the United States. Naturally, that means that news outlets are willing to publish anything that has to do with the sport. Unfortunately, that means that things that wouldn't interest the public (like personal issues, family problems, etc.) become important topics simply because of the popularity of the individuals involved.
