The New York Yankees have made yet another move to try and help them move up in the AL East and catch the Baltimore Orioles. The latest roster move came on Tuesday, with General Manager, Brian Cashman making the move to acquire San Diego Padres third baseman, Chase Headley.
Headley, like many Padres hitters, has had a tough season at the plate, hitting just .229 with seven homeruns, 32 RBIs, and an on base percentage below .300. The bright spot for Headley, and probably what the Yankees saw of late, is that in July he is hitting .323, which is being credited to a change in his grip.
