The New York Knicks made an announcement earlier in the week that will bring back memories for the older fans. In addition to announcing when they be holding their annual Media Day for all types of media on Monday, September 29th, they announced a new, old location for training camp this season.

While the Media Day will be held at the MSG Training Center in Greenburgh, New York, the Knicks training camp will be held at West Point on the grounds of the United States Military Academy. To prepare for the upcoming 2014-2015 season, the Knicks will hold their training camp from September 30th - October 4th at Christl Arena, the same place Army's men's and women's basketball teams play. It will be the first time the Knicks hold training camp at West Point since 1966. The United States National Team had practiced there earlier in the summer as well to prepare for the FIBA World Cup.

Previously, the Knicks had been holding theirs at the MSG Training Center for the past couple of seasons and in Saratoga the first two seasons under Mike D'Antoni.
