The Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager, Doug Armstrong, announced that he and Brodeur, had agreed on a three year deal naming him the Assistant GM. Brodeur, 43, joined the Blues on December 2, 2014, after 21 seasons in the Devils organization. Following a seven game stint in St. Louis, he announced his retirement on January 29, moving upstairs into the Blues front office as a Senior Advisor to the General Manager.
