TweetLast week when Reggie Wayne found out about the streak being broken at 149 straight weeks a proCane has scored an NFL TD, he responded by saying: “It sucks.” Wayne though followed up his comment by saying: “I’ll start a new streak this week.” Sure enough Wayne started a new streak by scoring 56-yard TD.

TweetI spent much of the early part of the season chronicling the Miami Hurricanes’ historic rushing defense woes. Not since 1995 had a Hurricanes defense allowed more rushing yards to start the season. But Miami's rushing defense began to show improvement in the second half of the season.

Miami Defense On a Roll; Canes Down USF on Last Second Field Goal http://ballhyped.com/2011/11/19/miami-defense-on-a-roll-canes-down-usf-on-last-second-field-goal/ Sun, 20 Nov 2011 04:52:05 +0000 http://ballhyped.com/2011/11/19/miami-defense-on-a-roll-canes-down-usf-on-last-second-field-goal/

TweetAfter struggling much of the season, the Miami defense has not allowed a touchdown in six quarters and counting. Not since E.J. Manuel found Rodney Smith for the 21-yard touchdown with 4:42 remaining in the second quarter of last week’s loss to Florida State has a team reached the end zone against the Canes.
